The name Earl Grey comes from the British Prime Minister, Earl Charles Grey. It was he who became famous for popularising the recipe. The infusion of dried black tea acquires its distinctive aroma from bergamot orange peel oil. It is an excellent choice if you are a fan of strong, aromatic teas.
